What is Grounding Totem?
We're a guild based on the idea that your guildmates are your friends and dedicated to the idea of having a great environment in which to play World of Warcraft.
Our rules are simple: Don't be a jerk.
We're casual, friendly, and relaxed - but our raiding members are expected to be skillful and focused.
If you have a love for science fiction movies, role-playing games, war games, software development, geek culture and sarcasm and want a guild that feels like home this is the place for you. If you're more concerned about the number of bank tabs we have, the design of our guild crest or want to hit cutting edge content we won't be a good fit. But if you want to game with people who will get your jokes and will cheer your triumphs look no further.
Though we play on an RP server, our RP requirements are minimal - play in or out of character - as you desire. Guild Chat is not role-play-oriented.
There are no spec requirements, no hardcore time commitments. What’s most important is attitude and fun. We have the gamut of play-styles and experience represented in our ranks; from former hardcore raiders to the most casual of occasional players. People who focus on questing and lore to those who burn down bosses for the fight mechanics. We have AddOn authors and technical neophytes. Everyone who is willing to fit in is welcome.
